This summer I worked two jobs one was Fehling’s sheet metal which is a heating and air conditioning and the other was managing at ogos which is and ice cream shop beside freeride. Working those two jobs took up a lot of my time but the few other things that I did was just hanging out with friends and I also went on a one week trip to the states.
At Fehling’s sheet metal I was learning how to clean and maintenance air conditioners it is very frustrating work especially if there is a leak in the pipe lines. When that happens you have to take awhile to find the leak and then after you find it you have try weld it. At ogos work there is probably the easiest job I have ever done. Alls I do is scoop ice cream and make waffle cones and do minor things like ice cream orders while ordering people around. And showing them what to do. But one bad thing about the job is that it gets really busy because of location and summer. And also the outstanding cakes that we make. Although working these jobs took up most of my time they were well worth it.
Some good things that came from working constantly were a long board, paint ball gun, money for my trip and possibly a new car. The most useful of the things I got or want is the paintball gun it is a fun and athletic new sport which I am just starting to get into its like a war except no one dies and that’s why its one of my new favorite things to do. The long board was another great investment it’s a fun easy and safe way to get around.
This may not have been the best summer but there were certain things that made up for it and even though I work most of the time I still had an aright summer.
